We recreated the flow that doubled our conversion rate in Make

Originally, we made this flow using Clay. But since HeyReach recently integrated with Make, we rebuilt the flow in… well, Make. 😅

(plus, a few of you reached out to ask about some Make recipes… so here’s one)

Back in Q3 last year, we had a conversion rate problem. Basically a lot of free trial signups were coming in, but conversion was stagnant at 9%. It felt like watching paint dry.

But then we implemented this inbound-led outreach motion, and our conversion rate jumped to 17%.

To give a quick recap:

  1. Someone signs up for a free trial

  2. They get whisked away into HubSpot

  3. Our AI agents qualify leads across tiers

  4. All data is passed back and organized in our CRM

  5. Human-led and self-serve motions are executed

No manual work, all automated.

Put simply, we gathered accurate data on new users, allowing us to reach out with personalized messages that boosted both user activation and conversion rates.

Say we notice a sales team with 10+ reps generating $5M+ annually who wants to automate and track their LinkedIn outreach activities.

Sales or Success teams may wanna reach out and hop on 1:1 walkthroughs with specific leads.

Meanwhile, the Marketing team can track qualified free trial signups instead of just total numbers. Maybe even customize onboarding flows for self-serve verticals.

For example, if you plan to reach out through LinkedIn, you could use HeyReach to:

  • If already connected, send a direct message

  • If not connected, send a connection request first. If they accept, send the message

  • If they don't accept your request, you can send an InMail

It's the same message, but you make sure it reaches the lead one way or another.

Simple but powerful. We saw excellent reply rates, which translated directly into booked meetings and successful conversions of tier 1 and tier 2 users.
